Positano - Ship to bus to Path of the Gods Nocelle

I have searched for directions on how to get from where we tender in to Positano (early June) to catch the local bus up to Nocelle to walk on the "Path of the Gods"..  Has anyone done this?  Or, are there taxi's waiting onshore when we get there; if so, anyone know how much to go to Nocelle?  I've read most people go to Bomerano to start the walk but this seems very convoluted and we probably won't walk the whole path.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

There are no vehicles near the beach at Positano, you have to walk up to Piazza dei Mulini from the beach (about 350 meters/two-tenths of a mile).  That's where you can get the bus to Nocelle.

 

The bus is run by Mobility Amalfi Coast, they post the schedule on their facebook page.  The current schedule runs through the end of March, they'll post the next one after that.  You can see it here:  

 

That said, if you read through the comments there and on TA you'll see that the bus often doesn't run to schedule, so you'll need to be patient.
