using a "friend" coupon

Can I use the "friend" coupon if I booked through an online travel agent that offered on board credit as an incentive?

Do I need to let the travel agent know or do I just mail/fax to the contact on the back of the coupon?

 

I know these sound like dumb questions... I'm new to cruising.

Yes you should be able to use it, just email your agent or there should be a fax number on the back of the coupon. Fill it out with your reservation number on it and fax it to the coupon redemption dept. 1-866-222-5150, just attach a note with your information on it.

My experience has been that some of the online agencies do not allow the use of the coupons and some allow them but at a reduced rate so that their commission is not reduced by the use of the coupon. Look for the FAQ section of the their website. You will usually see this addressed there.
