$10.00 up charge for second main course

A while ago i read where Holland America was experimenting with a $10 extra charge for a second main course on the Eurodam and other ships.  What ever happened to this?  Is it being continued.  Can't seem to find any updates.  thank you

It was a limited experiment. It's long gone. Very unpopular.

On our last cruise we sat next to a table with a couple who always ordered a third main course (a pasta) to share - Italians, of course!  It seemed like a nice idea.

We have done that with pasta or even vegetarian dishes we wanted to try but didn't want to commit our whole entree to. If it is just the two of us dining we will ask for a half size entree portion of that variety. Kind of like a side dish portion. A pasta course is a lovely and yummy idea.
