WOW, cost of Princess Plus for a single traveler

Yes Ombud you are right that's what I meant. I was looking at a cruise in November, which may be doubtful at this time. I am aware that for a single you pay 200% for the room and I have no issue with that. However, they were charging nearly twice as much for the Princess Plus package which at that point isn't reasonable. A single will likely use 1/2 of the services of the double, why should they pay twice as much. Paying double for the room I have come to accept and will pay, but to have to pay for double of the benefits seems unreasonable. I will say that when I have checked a few other itineraries the price of Princess Plus was the same. The itinerary I was originally looking at was a repositioning cruise, perhaps that's the reason why.

Has nothing to do with it being a repositioning cruise. I pay for it as I go unless there's a temporary glitch. Happened on my TA to Barcelona April 4, 2021 when the Best Price Ever and BEST.SALE.EVER were the same for 2 days. Otherwise it doesn't make sense (I don't drink a lot)
