Marella Celebration Dubai 2020/2021?

Hello!

 

Does anyone know what has happened to Marella celebrations cuises leaving from Dubai during the winter 2020/2021? It seems like they are gone from the reservation system?

Me and my husband have actually already booked a 14-night cruise in March already, another couple would like to join us but it seems impossible...? Might the cruises be cancelled?

Yes we had been looking at Celebration from Dubai as I had done it couple of years ago with a friend and hubby wanted to see Dubai and as you say it has now disappeared which is very strange I hope it doesn't mean Celebration is leaving the fleet

Well, they have not contacted me for any cancellation yet.. the cruises from Limassol in April  2021 are still good to book, it´s so strange?

According to someone working for another BIG company, that encompasses several cruise lines, I was told out of all of the possible lines/  Ships, that when they restart they will be sailing only 2 ships out of all of them to just see what the interest in cruising is. ITS  cheaper to have them laid up with minimal maintenance staff, than float them out nearly empty. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Celebration and Dream being retired. 

Also on another thread I have said that cruising is now on the optional extras for insurance! PLUS covid is now a known about illness and wouldn't be covered according to my insurance company, a company I believe also has a cruise ship (and many planes!)  They also say they will not insure any new customers. It’s just been announced Celebration is being retired from now. Sorry guys not the news we’d wanted to hear - I was hoping to book the Gulf to Med crossing in March 2021.
