Whale Watching & Fishing at ISP w/ F.I.S.H.E.S - 5 July 2006

Hi,

My wife & I just booked with Captain Floyd and Marjorie from the highly-regarded F.I.S.H.E.S charter out of Icy Strait Point. Here is their website: http://www.visithoonah.com/fishes/.

They can take a max of 6 people out on the charter and I wanted to see if anyone else was interested in joining us.

It is mostly whale watching, but if everyone agrees, those who want can fish for King Salmon or Halibut on the way back to port (which sounds awesome to me!).

Please email me at pricekg@juno.com if you are interested.

Floyd will have no problem getting the other 4 people, though (Cathy and I are going with him in May).

Actually, I ended up canceling with him in August due to no one else. :(

Did you cancel or did they? Right now there are only 2 of us on our tour with someone else (FISHES was booked). I was under the impression we'd go anyway.

I canceled since they have a boat min. fee. I had already gone out with Orca Enterprises twice the day before, so I called him and canceled since the trip would have run about $500 for us two. I instead took my naturalist friend's advice and he hooked me up with a bear watch.

AlaskaMasta: Since you are not allowed to post on here to share tours there is another way to do it. Go find the Roll Call forum and find your cruise. You are allowed to ask anyone on your cruise to see if they are interested. Hope this helps.

P.S. You will find the roll call board on what I call the Table of Contents and scroll down to Roll Call Forums.
