Rare tammyjw305 Posted May 4, 2020 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2020 Has anyone heard if the Star has had or has a date to dry dock for its azipod work? Or, is it delayed? Thanks!

Thanks! Nothing confirmed but I do see that the Star is heading to Europe at this time hopefully to complete the repairs that were scheduled before all the cancellations. don't-use-real-name Posted May 4, 2020 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2020 To muddy the waters - - - Is it the Azipod (there are two of them) ? Or is it one of the 4 engines needing repairs ? Any combination of one down reduces cruise speed ! But the ship sails on A while back in Australia the STAR needed to be towed to port for repairs. hallux Posted May 4, 2020 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2020 I believe the issue was with one of the engines, or generator, not the Azipod.
Rare tammyjw305 Posted May 5, 2020 Author #5 Share Posted May 5, 2020 That sounds hopeful. Hopefully, they can resolve the issue during the downtime.
