CREW MEMBER HURT WITH FALL FROM SHIP

Our daily local Echo crew member fell from ship Discovery 2 gouged his leg on propeller and airlifted to hospital that would have been at anchor of the I.OW very lucky man.

We had just left the Majesty a few days before this accident. We are friends with two of the  entertainers who were very close friends of the Filipino crew member who died. 

 

Three crew members who have been stuck on ships ( not Marella ) for weeks have committed suicide in the past few days.

Most recent was a young Eastern European girl who went overboard. So , so sad

This is just awful, awful news,! 
Our thoughts go out to the poor men involved, along with their families, friends and crew mates.

A young British couple of entertainers (dancers ?) stuck on a Celebrity ship were remotely interviewed on TV the other day.

 

More or less confined to inside cabins and not given choice to move into balcony cabins ahead of other crew.

 

They clearly were not happy with the way they had been treated  - as evident by the reaction and body language when the programme presenter read out Celebrity's official position statement.
