excitedofharpenden Posted July 29, 2020 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2020 Whilst remaining positive, Larry would appear to have some reservations on what will happen going forward and that big changes are pretty inevitable for the cruising industry in general. https://www.travelweekly.com/Cruise-Travel/Insights/Pimentel-puts-cruise-executive-shake-up-in-perspective Phil 2
Rare uktog Posted July 29, 2020 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2020 A very measured article. I note the timeline he mentions which is far more realistic than agents would have you believe
Rare oddjob16 Posted July 29, 2020 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2020 One important word: "Consolidation". The next few years will be a consolidation period. I.e some will not survive and new ones will appear. Really bad timing for some.
CincyAL Posted August 11, 2020 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2020 2023 is a far more realistic "back to normal date". Allows for proven vaccine development and 12 months for wide spread world wide inoculations. Just my opinion very limited if any cruising in 2021.
