Do you have a cabin number you are concerned with?

The OV Cat E cabins are obstructed by the lifeboats   6033 & 6030  just have the small boat in front of the window

I just viewed the video that LHT28 found and posted above of Cabin 6033.  Note that the video of the view through the “picture” window was shot looking down through the window from a standing position so IMO it makes the obstruction by the small Zodiac appear much larger than it is.  
 

The bed is directly by the window and when looking from either sitting or laying on the bed, the only obstruction is the slender davit holding up the Zodiac, which is just below the level of that window so there is plenty of natural light.  We were in one of these two most forward OV, Obstructed View, E cabins (6033 and 6030) on our first three Oceania cruises, after which we sailed on new build Marina in 2011. Spouse fell in love with the “O” ships (and its two additional specialty restaurants) so we never have returned to any of the smaller Oceania “R” ships.  
 

The small size made me keep our clothes and purchases well-organized, the location both mid-ship and right by the fore elevators is excellent, and we spent our awake time elsewhere: pool deck, library, etc.

Thank you @LHT28 and @CintiPam for your help.  TA offered up 6039 which appears to be VERY obstructed.   It's a Bermuda 7 day, so won't be in cabin all that much but that may be more obstruction than we could handle.

Maybe check the price difference  for  a D  or C1 cabin  to see if it is worth moving

 Or if you can can handle an inside cabin they are usually cheaper

I personally would miss the natural light far too much to book such a small cabin obstructed by one of those large lifeboats.  But I certainly could take 6030 or 6033 for a week.

This is the view from 6039, it is obstructed but ok. I would choose this cabin again. 🙂

One concern would be if they use those boats at the tender ports, that is if your itinerary has tender ports. Frequently in these situations they start getting the tenders ready early, and there is quite a bit of noise if you are close to the winches and the winch motors. Not to mention the workers and other general noise in unhooking those and getting them into the water. 

 

Just something to think about.

We are booked into 6049 on the Nautica next October, I took a chance as a couple of posts said that it was not obstructed at all, I hope they are correct, anyone been in this one?
