Radiance extended aft balcony

Booked in an aft extended balcony with DM and DD.  I saw the mock-up of the layout on ccl website but I can’t figure out why the couch does not convert and a trundle is needed. Anyone with experience on having a cabin of that size with the King separated and the trundle in place? Pics or video would be appreciated. Thanks fellow cruisers!

If it's truly a trundle not a roll away, its smaller than a regular bed and only a child can sleep in it. I guess a short adult. I've only seen trundle beds on some older ships. I guess this is a hold over. It's not a full sized bed.

Thanks firefly333 for the quick reply. Makes perfect sense. With the smaller size it can be placed sideways in front of that couch.

The trundle bed will slide under the regular bed during the day if you want. It's a little lower to the ground also than a regular bed, if it's the same trundle bed carnival has had.

I’m thinking so since the Radiance has been two other ships prior.

Thanks we may try to store if we can get enough of the suitcases in the closet.

Radiance has been 2 ships prior?  It was built as Victory and is now being converted to Radiance.
