What is the best course of action for us?

  1. 1. What would you do in our position?

    • Pay for the cruise, bank on it being cancelled and get a full refund eventually (basically a temporary loan to Carnival).

    • As far as I understand since the cruise still has a sail date we would lose our deposits and pay the skymiles cancellation fee of $100 per booking (we have 3 bookings) - around $800 total.

    • Reschedule the cruise now before paying, and again still leave the money ($5,000) tied up with Carnival

    • Repeat the first option but if it doesn't get cancelled try and reschedule later on like in December and hope they allow it.
