IMO--- The Canadian and European food cultures are quite different from what we've experienced in the US---- it's NOT a negative, just different tastes and food preparation in different areas. I agree completely. I learned how to cook from my Mom who learned how to cook from her Mom who came with her family to the US from Naples, Italy in 1904.
