melmar02 Posted October 6, 2020 #26 Share Posted October 6, 2020 Belle - I'm so glad you had a good time! Diana - I've been listening to some interesting podcasts recently about how we are all different (gut health, DNA, etc.) so different diets work for different people. If I'm working on something, I don't even realize I haven't eaten. Jan - We were supposed to be on Liberty on Nov 1, but we were pretty sure it would be cancelled anyway. My daughter is almost aged out of Kids Sail Free so we decided to Lift & Shift a couple months ago before final payment. It was a great deal compared to what that new sailing costs! Fingers crossed for the end of January for us - we'll see. 🤷♀️

Belle Posted October 7, 2020 Author #28 Share Posted October 7, 2020 Hey..No talkers today. Jan and Mel sorry about your cruises. I know so many of us have cruises booked for next year. Hope we get to take them. The cruises get pushed back and then we're not given a clear answer when it will happen. Problem is the cruise lines don't know either. Everyone on hold. My 1st one is SUPPOSE to be in March. Who knows? Everyone ready for tomorrow?

We ate about 5:30 last night and it's just about 4:30 here now. I haven't been hungry all day, but my stomach just started talking to me. We'll see if I can make it that last hour. DH went into the office this afternoon, so maybe I'll walk until he gets home.
winewanderer Posted October 7, 2020 #30 Share Posted October 7, 2020 (edited) Mel, congrats on getting throught the fast. We had great news today. Our county has hit a new low threshhold for new virus cases, 2 new cases per 100,000 people. I must say everywhere we go people are in masks, I really haven't seen anyone not wear one (except in restaurants of course). Belle, I hope I don't post a gain tomorrow but we went out to dinner. Eventhough hubby and I both brought home leftovers I still feel the salt bomb..... Tonight is a healthy dinner, fresh corn and salad. Did more yard work today, air not too bad.
