how to insure very expensive and long world cruises

We are planning to go on a 6-month-long cruise in 2022. We are having trouble finding trip cancellation insurance that will cover the amount paid and the length of time. Someone suggested buying four policies to cover it, but didn't say how to do this. We have medical coverage for the trip, but really want cancellation/interruption coverage as well.

Maybe go to the forum for the cruise line you are sailing on  & ask what other have done  in the past

Do not think it is something you can buy online   but do talk to a broker  to see what they can offer

Hi Mary,

 

I have combined different travel insurance plans to cover expensive trips for many years. It's a little complicated, but when you have a trip cost that exceeds the company limits, it can be done.

 

In addition, having a claim is complicated, but we help everyone with claims.
