Rare crewsweeper Posted November 13, 2020 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2020 Out side of the shopping at the port, you won't find much in walking distance. No major attractions. 2 miles + to Charlotte Amalie and not very scenic. You need a taxi to get anywhere.

blue_water Posted November 14, 2020 #4 Share Posted November 14, 2020 Crew sweeper is correct. Many who just want some beach time will take a quick taxi to Lindbergh Bay (aka Emerald Beach) and enjoy the facilities at the Emerald Beach Resort. Some prefer to walk and if you want some beach time it is an option... Tickles Dockside Pub is a great spot for a cold drink and snacks near the ship... https://www.ticklesdocksidepub.com/

O2B@Cagain Posted November 16, 2020 #6 Share Posted November 16, 2020 It's a 1 1/2 mile flat walk to town. There is a sidewalk the whole way. It's an even shorter walk to Lindbergh Bay. You can also take the ferry at Crown Bay to Water Island.
