audcc77 Posted November 26, 2020 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2020 I put a cabin with a casino rate with OBC on hold last night. I wanted to discuss with DH this morning. I received a confirmation email stating that my rate and cabin is on hold for a few days. There is no mention in the email about the OBC. Today DH says OK let’s go. Today when I went to log in, that offer is no longer available in my “offers.” I understand the cabin is still on hold, but did I lose my OBC? 😳. It also had drinks in the casino. So I’m wondering if I lost that too. Has anyone done this? Thanks
my kids mama Posted November 27, 2020 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2020 I did the same thing a few months back. I paid from the email that my PVP sent to me. All of my perks were in the email though, I think. If you used a rate code that had your perks listed, I would assume that they will all be in there. This is one of the reasons that I always book with a PVP. even if it's a casino deal. I will go and look to see if I can find that email. I will send another response, if I can find it. Also, if you were mailed anything with the same offer on it,. bring it with you. They will honor it.

cellfree Posted November 27, 2020 #4 Share Posted November 27, 2020 I put a cruise on hold last week when searching one evening (I was rebooking a cancelled cruise) and the new cruise simply had a $50 OBC but I will also get my $600 OBC. A couple days later I called my PVP and he grabbed the one I had on hold and even though the $50 OBC was no longer being offered on the website I did get everything that was offered when I put the cruise on hold. Another btw, the new cruise was a few dollars less than the cancelled cruise so my PVP also added that amount to our OBC. I do not know if I could have done all that on-line and had it work out ok. audcc77 Posted November 27, 2020 Author #5 Share Posted November 27, 2020 Thanks Cellfree. I am not sure when my PVP is back in but I sent an email to her about the hold. It is nice they hold the reservations for several days with no money down.

Good, hope it works out, I need to do the same again today, had two to rebook and always seem to find what I want in the evenings. It is nice of Carnival to allow the hold thing for what really is a decent amount of time.
