Lift and shift question

With our May 2021 Alaska cruise quickly approaching, our group of eight (all over the age of 60) are getting concerned as to our options.

Could we lift and shift before final payment and/or RC cancelling or must we wait until the cruise line cancels?

Thanks so very much!

No, You can only shift it to a cruise that departs before April 30, 2022.  Your cruise is currently not eligible for the Lift and shift.

Hang tight, maybe Royal will extend the offer.

My feeling is that if ships resume sailing they will no longer extend the lift and shift option.

Probably right though I doubt by July they’ll be anywhere near all ships sailing. Hoping not to have to wait for mine to be canceled.
