cruiselifers Posted February 11, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2006 There are two different codes for the AA mini's on the Coral. One says will accommodate 3rd passenger and the other says will accommodate 3rd and 4th passengers. Does anyone know what the difference is in these two mini's. Is there more room in one or the other. Should I have a preference? There are only two of us.
Toto2Kansas Posted February 12, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2006 One will have two drop down bunks and the other will have only one. No difference in actual cabin space.
cruiselifers Posted February 12, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted February 12, 2006 Thanks for your quick reply. Is there a better cabin? Do you think further from the bow would be best?
LARGIN Posted February 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2006 All of the AA's are near the bow, some closer than others.. Also, it appears that the AA's are a bit wider than the AB's, AC's, etc..
ldoc31 Posted February 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2006 Our AA on the Coral had a sleep sofa that would suffice for one person. It was close to the bow and we loved the location.
cruiselifers Posted February 12, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted February 12, 2006 Idoc, Which cabin was it? Also did you do the Panama Canal? Do you know if Port would be better? We are doing a partial transit and were wondering what side would be better. We are thinking too that we should just take one of the AA's that can accommodate three people since there are only two of us so that if people really need the cabins with the capacity for four they can have it. Colo Cruiser Posted February 12, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2006 Actually AA cat cabins on the Coral/Island will have only the pull out sofa for the third and the sofa and a drop down bunk for 3rd and 4th. The Minis do not have 2 drop down beds. :) Being close to the bow is no big deal as far as I am concerned. This is the area that we almost always book our cabins on the Coral/Island. We were in B215 and loved the room. We had a great view going through the canal. We could also see into the bridge.
