just curious - how much commission ( even estimated ) is your TA 'earning' from your cruise ... and how much time do they have invested in your cruise ?

I don't know, but I feel a little less bad since it's an included part of my credit card benefit that I pay $$ for every year. That should probably make me feel a little better.

I'm noticing a $200 drop on my Aug 2022 cruise that I was debating calling in for. I hate having to bother the agents for (relatively) so little money, but that's like 1-2 free excursions for me!

My TA does not mind requests like that even though it means a reduced commission for her. When I make a final payment, she even volunteers to see if better pricing is available.

Why would a TA do this? Well, doing this makes for a satisfied customer which usually means a repeat customer which means more income for the TA.
