Neighbor's son works for Enterprise in Fort Myers (where most of their fleet burnt). Prices are going to be high in general due to limited travelers, limited inventory, and then limited inventory with tons of travelers. I would use personal vehicles and park at the port. It would only be about $120 per vehicle. Split 5 ways with 2 vehicles, it is $50pp. Much easier and no real hassle. You could save a little at some of the parking places, but is it really worth it?

I agree, we don't want the hassle.  Port parking it is.  We are so ready to be back on a ship.  I have almost forgotten what the "ding" sounds like.

Where?

I booked the Hoilday Inn beach resort but at the time I was looking other also had a spring rate going on. Also booked a gateway back at home because of the spring rate.

Understand that the car rental locations may be really busy on turn-around days, you have folks dropping cars off and on their way to the ship and others leaving the ship and picking up cars.  PATIENCE and realizing we're on VACATION gets us through it...lol

Previously, I was going to rent a car. However, the rental prices have skyrocketed for our July cruise (assuming it sails). It went from $60 to $150. Uber is around $80, shuttles are about $30-$40pp, and private shuttles about $130 each way.

Keep shopping!  Rental car prices vary all the time.  Good luck! 😎
