Which Bay does NCL tender to; Cook's Bay or Opunohu Bay? I'm trying to plan excursion's, so would like to know which one please. Thanks in advance!😊

This may be different on different dates as both Cook's and Opunohu have tender locations with vendor stands and if there is a ship in one bay the next ship usually will go to the other. They may not know until a bit closer to the date of the ship being on Moorea.

I think that your NCL ship is big enough that it probably won't be Cook's Bay. There is a draft size limit, I don't know what it is but the Oceania ship Sirena, at 650 pax was not allowed to anchor there- too big.

I've only anchored in Cooks Bay on Windstar.

Opunohu Bay does have a deeper reef opening but I've seen R4 ships enter Cook's Bay on several occasions. That's 30,000 tons, 680 passengers.

I've also see larger ships turn around and not enter Cook's Bay in rough weather.

The pass into Cook's Bay is 65 feet deep

The pass into Opunohu Bay is 150 feet deep.
