Ilovesailaway Posted April 15, 2021 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2021 I have a cruise booked for Dec 2021. Fingers crossed. I booked this after a cruise from 2020 was cancelled due to covid. As it stands my DW and I are booked but I may switch the booking so the its my son and I. Wife has a work thing that will conflict. We were given a $600 OBC because of our cancelled 2020 cruise. I wonder if having my son on my res. instead of my wife will effect that OBC? She was on the 2020 booking that was cancelled. Also, this 2021 cruise is scheduled to stop at Key West but I seem to remember that the locals had voted to no longer allow cruises there. Anyone know if that's true? vwrestler171 Posted April 15, 2021 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2021 You would lose the #400 OBS due to your wife, as well as potentially losing her portion of the deposit.
Ilovesailaway Posted April 16, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted April 16, 2021 What if she stays on the booking but is a no show? This cruise is with several of our regulars so I would have plenty of company even if I were without a roommate.

The OBC would still be lost since she was a no show and OBC is split between cabin members.
serene56 Posted April 16, 2021 #5 Share Posted April 16, 2021 it all comes down to how you booked. If you booked as an early saver rate you would lose her deposit. You can not make name changes on an early saver rate.
