Waikiki/Oahu Vacation Semi Live May 14-23

Saturday was back to the KCC Farmers market 

 

Saturday afternoon was just a lazy day by the pool

Sunday was the day we came home. Our flight didn’t leave until 9:30pm. We stopped by Walmart for some last minute souvenirs. 
 

We stopped by the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific(punch bowl crater)

 

i saw this statue at the beginning of

Hawaii 5-0(original series) and had always wanted to see it. I had no idea how beautiful this cemetery is

this memorial in the cemetery commemorates the 28,000 solders from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam whose remains were never found or they are missing in action.

This cemetery is just beautiful and everyone should go see this place

We then stopped by the Halona blow hole

Sadly our vacation came to an end. All of our flights were on time and the trip home went very smoothly.

Hopefully you will want to return. Nine days just scratches the surface of one island.

Thanks for a lovely report!  Our Hawaii cruise for October 2021 was cancelled, so we rebooked for January 2023 (HOPING Covid woes will be in the rearview mirror by then)! Your pictures were beautiful!
