slavens_09 Posted May 17, 2021 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2021 Possibly picking up crew to ferry to another Carnival ship trying to sail in July? Just a thought. Anyone else?
Pyrate13 Posted May 17, 2021 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2021 Carnival as well as RCl and others have been visiting at St Maarten ever since the cruising stopped. Possibly for supplies and fuel? They have also been stopping at Miami, FLL and Canaveral. They still have to feed the crew on board.
CruiseAdict218 Posted May 17, 2021 #3 Share Posted May 17, 2021 They sail to St. Maartin I believe to rotate crew, and then stops in the US ports (Miami, PC, etc) for provisions, fuel and offload waste.
osuchica Posted July 9, 2021 #4 Share Posted July 9, 2021 I’m here in St. Maarten and it’s been sitting offshore for the last 2 days. Was wondering which Carnival ship it was - recognize that whale tail anywhere - finally found it online, and then wondered why it was just sitting out there. Guess it makes sense!
