Hi, My friend got an offer from Celebrity Blue chip club for a free veranda stateroom on Summit. We are curious about a couple of things.. 1. Do the free rooms now come with the "everything included" perks?  Also #2 in Royal Caribbean's casino club many of the offers come with a trade in value incase the dates they provide don't work for you.. Does anyone know if Celebrity's offers also come with a trade in value? Thank you. - Stephanie

If the offer comes with  "everything included" it will state it in the email.   Mine for December said

"Set sail on a tropical vacation with your exclusive offer, and for the first time ever, drinks, Wi-Fi, and tips are included with your complimentary stateroom."

If it doesn't state that, then it probably does not.  You can call and ask, or check your confirmation if you have booked already.

If you need to change dates they can move you to a sailing that has blue chip offers open.

Also the taxes and fees you pay are fully refundable up to 48 hours before sailing.

I also got an email offer for the Summit (veranda) yesterday.  Third offer I have received in the past few weeks and none of them refer to all included.  I did call and book one (not the Summit one) and asked them this very question and they confirmed it is room only and taxes and fees need to be paid which aligns with the way it has been in the past prior to All Inclusive 😞.

Unfortunately I am almost certain I will not be able to go on the one I booked for many reasons such as not expecting to be fully vaccinated by sail time and my country still being in a lock down type of travel advisory.  I hope as Micheleata suggests, that when I call to cancel I am able to work some magic to get something further out ...like next year.

Oh and I have never known of a trade in value for those offers though they certainly have some categorization for comparable 'offer' based on a players status which offers some wiggle room.  This remains a black box to many of us.

Thankful for my health but I am so bummed by all of this.

We booked two cruises with Celebrity-Bleu Chip that were offered(complimentary for Apex and Edge) but we had to pay taxes and it did not include OBC, gratuities or drink package. I paid the $420 for the added perks and still was happy.

Another offer was for 50% and for Alaska and I called and they did include the perks.  Due to scheduling and cost for flights from East Coast we passed on it.  However, I was told to contact them again if I had another choice and they would see what they could do.

I find they are extremely helpful and always respond within a day or so.

Not sure why they are offering us these deals.  We are not big players.  I guess when the complimentary offers were made it was at the peak time of the virus and they were looking for people to get on board once they started up.  Am still crossing my fingers we get to sail again!

So ... no offers lately but was pondering a 12 day Hawaii cruise May 2023 and I thought what they heck why not call Blue Chip and see if they would offer anything to push me over the edge.  OMG when she was done with all her Blue Chip magic numbers for me it was almost 70% reduced for both me and my travel buddy, I am stunned and we are booked!  And it's an ALL IN cruise with refundable deposit so joy joy!  I can't stop smiling 🙂

I have received free cruise offers in the past, mostly 7 day Caribbean and taken a few but they still end up costing to pay all taxes, gratuity and drinks since nothing is included in those offers.  I called only one time long long ago to price a regular cruise with then and the cost I was quoted was the same as what I seen on Celebrity site with no reduction so I never considered calling to ask again and I am so glad I did.

Thankful to others who share their experiences as it really is case by case, cruise by cruise and clearly one ask could be totally different from another.
