Shore excursion availability?

We are first-time Norwegian cruisers sailing from Athens on Jade this October 10-17. When I check "My Vacation" it shows zero shore excursions available.

 

Is this normal, and when should I expect to see them?

It might be a little early, those cruises were add ons due to Covid-19.

it's also possible ncl hasnt worked out excursions with the excursion operators.  dont worry,there will be plenty of shore excursions available when  the sailing date comes through.

 

ncl would never pass up a chance to make more money on these excursions.trust me, we've been on many ncl cruises

 

once you finally get to see what's available, you may want to consider hiring a driver to take you to the same places as listed on the excursion.  i see you're leaving from athens.

 

if some of your ports are rome, naples, or florence, hiring a cab driver is exactly what we did when we were at these ports. they take you wherever you want to go, wait for you there and get you back to the ship with plenty of  time before it departs.

 

regardless, have a great cruise and bon voyage.

 

make sure  you get to see the acropolis while in athens.
