I’m going to go looking for coffee. At worst i figure they open in 10 minutes. I saw two coffee shop looking places by the front desk. One on the lobby bar. The other in vip check in.

So I went looking for coffee. VIP check in looked like it had one.

I stopped by the front desk. They said you have to go to the buffet. I went to them buffet. It just opened so I grabbed a few bites.

The area where you pour your own beer also has a bartender and  coffee area. I asked if that’s where you get coffee. The guy said you have order from a waiter. So to get coffee I have to come down sit in the buffet and order from a waiter. Not happy with that. I sat down and the waiter brought me coffee. I asked for a mocha he said he’d get it. I have now finished my coffee and the mocha isn’t here.

On the food I ate the ham and cheese thing. It was good. Took one bite of the quesadilla. It’s double tortilla. Too much. And nibbled around the end of the tostada.

Can you order specialty coffees thru room service?

I waited a few more minutes and just left. The guy who was my waiter at the Italian restaurant had come by earlier and asked if I needed anything. I told him I already ordered coffee from another waiter. I probably should’ve reordered from him. 2 is better than none.

I decided to walk to see if I saw any signs of coffee shops at the other resorts. They sure are working on that seaweed. Several groups throughout the beach. It’s a mess.

I do like that I can walk down the path and be close to the water without having to get in the sand. The beach itself is more walkable. At PH you had to cross the bridge and you would sink in the sand. I’m not sure you’re going to be building sandcastles here, but the beach is easy to walk on.

I walked all the way down to the palace again.

While I was here I decided to take a break from looking for coffee and drink a cup of coffee so I got a table in la hacienda (where i ate lunch yesterday) and ordered tow mochas.

I thought maybe a pastry or something would go good so I went to the back and four they a churro station (not self service) that was to my liking.
