CruisinNewbie11 Posted June 18, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 18, 2021 I just went onto the NCL website to see if my cruise 11/9/2021 thru 11/20/2021 had come down in price. I could not find it listed, although my reservation is still available if I want to make a payment. Could this mean that this cruise is all booked up? Or, is bad news coming? The Epic transatlantic is still being sold. Don't think I can handle any more disappointment....

Whatever it is....Nov cruises are not all booked up and if prices come down it won't be until after final payment.

I just booked the Joy this past week on the 16th and yesterday, just because I was looking up a price for my niece, I checked up on mine and it was $100 less. I emailed my ncl cruise specialist at 8am yesterday morning and by 9am she had emailed me back that I was correct in my findings and had already updated my reservation and sent me the new confirmation. Of course that's not the norm, but this is not the first time I've been able to do this prior to final payment. I have a policy of checking at least once a week after booking until final payment and I do sometimes get lucky like this time.

Good to know.....maybe they've realized with the sky-high rates the demand isn't there. I think "we all" have booked our FCCs etc.....so they're aiming for those who will pay full price.
CruisinNewbie11 Posted June 19, 2021 Author #6 Share Posted June 19, 2021 I have had price decrease regarding the cruise I am talking about. I continue to check prices. FYI, the cruise that "disappeared" has not reappeared! So I am breathing easier.
caitlynambrai Posted June 19, 2021 #7 Share Posted June 19, 2021 What happens if the rate decreases AFTER final payment? For Royal Caribbean, the difference was provided as OBC.
