Emerald Cruises?

I'm looking to book a Danube river cruise for Sept or Oct 2022. I've been leaning toward Avalon- their cabins, excursions and ship atmosphere really appeal to me. However Emerald has an itinerary option that I find intriguing. From the research I've done Emerald and Avalon seem very similar. But I just can't find as many reviews about Emerald. There is a ton of info out there about Avalon, and I just would find it easier to compare the two if I could get a better idea of what Emerald is like. I would love to know if anyone has done a river cruise with Emerald, and how the experience was. Thanks!

Some small potatoes but worth noting: If you have Scenic loyalty points you can apply them to Emerald cruises, but not vice-versa, and you won't earn Scenic loyalty points on an Emerald cruise.

We did 15 days on Emerald a few years ago.  We were very pleased.  Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
