Any recent successes switching dinner from a set time to MTD?

Recommended Posts

Hello! We board the Adventure on the 24th and I cannot wait!!! When we booked, My Time Dining was full, so we got on the waitlist. Has anyone who has sailed this past month been successful at switching from the set time (in our case, 5:30) to MTD once onboard? Our boarding time is noon, so we could get up to the dining room pretty early to talk to them.

If the Windjammer was open, this wouldn't be a huge issue. We are not really into eating at the paid restaurants, as we tend to enjoy the food in the main dining room.

Are you on the MTD waiting list? We aren’t cruising until August, but after a few weeks on the waiting list, we were moved from 8:00 to MTD. They didn’t tell us we were moved. I just noticed it in the app.

We were told that MTD was sold out. But when we went to cruise planner, it allowed us to book MTD times,,, so we did.

We are on the waitlist. The app is still showing 5:30. In reading a lot of the blogs about the first voyages back, it seems like a lot of people are taking advantage of the paid dining through the dining packages and whatnot, so hopefully that can help us squeeze into MTD.

Ha! I tried that several times over the past month. It keeps saying "Guest not configured for My Time Dining".

Happy sailing!  On the Adventure, they had so many tables blocked off for social distancing that there was a wait with a reservation, even though the dining room was empty.
