bones774 Posted July 8, 2021 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2021 hi, looking to do a B2B on MSC outta Miami, has anyone looked into what is needed. I'm wondering what covid testing is done would be neccessary between cruises? and where it could be done quickly if needed, leave the ship and go to med center? in NY I go to city hospital and they test no charge and results are emailed in several hours thanks
Até Posted July 8, 2021 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2021 I think the only problem might be if you are not fully vaccinated because of the requirement to have a negative PCR test within 72 hours before embarkation. If you show proof of vaccination you only need to do the rapid antigen test at embarkation. You have to get off the ship regardless but I suspect MSC will have a fairly typical process for B2B guests that are vaccinated, just adding the antigen test before re-boarding. I suppose a non-vaccinated passenger could get off the ship quickly and find a rapid PCR test facility to hopefully get the results back before needing to check in again and then do the pre-boarding antigen test but I'm unsure how MSC would feel about that.
