Way to contact Carnival (such as via email or online form) without talking on the phone?

Note that I also keep all of my emails.  But, in this case, as I explained above, there was no email for the $100 OBC bonus.  It was simply stated on a web page when you went to check the status of your cruise last month.

I received mutiple emails for the additional $100 OBC. This was from 5/20.

We are now working to confirm protocol requirements for each destination and for our guest operations.  We will be in touch again by the end of the month with more information on our specific guest and destination protocols and if any itinerary changes are required.  In the meantime, we want to remind you of the options available to you:
  • Remain on your 8-day sailing and receive a $100 per stateroom onboard credit should the sailing operate. Final payments for August sailings had been pushed back but will start to become due on May 31, so you will need to remit on time to avoid cancellation.
  • If the time is not right for you to travel, you may reschedule or cancel your reservation by your final payment date with no penalty.  You can call 1-800-CARNIVAL, your Personal Vacation Planner, or your travel advisor to rebook for a later date.  Many of our itineraries are open through 2024, with more coming online soon, so we’re certain we can find another great alternative, if that is your preference.

I have no advice over what's been offered, but just wanted to say...

This is an irritation for me too, especially in booking casino deals.  Currently booked under FVB, which includes "Free drinks anywhere on the ship", $1,000 casino credit, and $200 OBC.  Of those, only the OBC shows up in print anywhere.  I REALLY wish they'd put in the casino offer details.  It always stresses me out that somehow it'll get lost in the system.  I want it in writing.  I'd also love more details about the terms and conditions of those particular perks!  You book a casino deal, and everything kinda just goes POOF.

Some OBC, like what you get for booking through a TA, does not show up until you get onboard.

That's right. You get nothing beforehand in writing from the TA and Carnival either doesn't know about a TA OBC, or will not acknowledge it. That's where faith comes into play. And it appears that TA issued OBC is treated like Cruise Cash...use it or lose it(that's my theory at least).

Though we have never had the problem of something not showing up, our TA once advised me if that should happen, do not worry about it or let it ruin your cruise. Instead contact him afterwards and let him straighten it out.

Just curious, but what can they do afterwards? Some people never take a second cruise or might go on another line. Or book differently.

He was referring to some OBC not showing up. The could straighten it out and post a credit to your credit card for the amount of the OBC since your final charge would be less.

Ok, so that is indeed normal then?  Just feels weird that I have nothing that says it, you know?  It was listed on their website, but I didn't think to take a screenshot of it, so I literally have nothing stating that I'll get it.  Just wanted to know if I was going to have an issue before I got on, I guess.  🙂

Thanks though -- at least now I know that it might be correct still.

Please let us know if in fact it was there for you. I have a similar situation.

The $100 OBC was in my S&S account on the ship.

Just to note it, mine was not.  Not the extra $100 that I was promised for not cancelling -- and not the $50 that we were promised under the wedding group that we signed up under.  I'm on the ship now -- waiting in the virtual queue to talk to Guest Services...  I guess we'll see how this goes.
