8 day formal nights?

I know this has probably been asked a million times but not sure if anything has changed since starting back up but when are the formal nights on a 8 day cruise?  I have it down as the first day at sea and then on the 6th day.  Anyone that has been on a recent 8 day clarify please?

It depends on a lot of things including ports and port times. On my Horizon 8 day it was the first sea day and the 5th day. It isn't one size fits all.
