Celebrity Solstice sailings in January/ February 2022

We know that Celebrity have already cancelled all Solstice sailings up to December.

 

When do you think they will make a decision about the Vietnam/ Thailand cruises in January/ February 2022?

 

It seems to me that the delta variant will likely be a massive issue in Vietnam and Thailand.  The number of adults vaccinated in these countries is very low.

If the sailing is from or to Hong Kong that could be a problem, friends who live there are doing “hotel staycations” due to quarantine restrictions.

Anybody booked the 1/I6.22 sailing? Booked the 1/16/22 sailing using FCC from Jan 2020, final payment due date in October 2021.  I hope Celebrity will make announcement by then if any cancellation. I've check the 2023 sailing, the itinerary is not as good.  There's no overnight stay like the 2022 sailings.

Fingers crossed that they do cancel very soon. Far too risky.

Surely they need to put the ship somewhere else and start selling a new itinerary!
