Last minute booking question

Looking into booking a cruise early September. What’s the general cut off time, number of days before? We are aware of COVID testing requirements.

Don't quite understand your question. If you are asking what is the latest date you can book a cruise.....then. If a cruise has space, then you can book it. The only thing is the entire fare price is due when booked that late. With reduced capacity some sailings have been unable to book for a while, while the newly released protocols are opening others up.

Yes, looking at latest date possible. Didn’t think about capacity limits, so far cabins are available

Well, then you can book no problem, it might really work in your favor with sales and cancellations as far as the fare price goes. Good luck, safe travels.

I’ve heard It’s typically around 54-72 hours. At some point they have to lock down the passenger list for government reporting.

Once booked the morning of. Never again. It took them hours to finalize it. Didnt have luggage tags and had to ask at luggage place for my cabin number. Had booked a gty. Almost missed the ship. Too close. 

 

They only have to have final manifest a couple of hours ahead of leaving the dock and getting clearance. Some will be no shows. No difference than me booking last minute.

About 24 hours out - the same as name changes.
