I am curious to hear from anyone who may be doing any of the AmaDahlia’s first cruises in Egypt which should be beginning next week.   Since AmaDahlia is a “new” ship to AMA as is the Nile cruise we are eager to hear any feedback!  We are booked for late October and hope these cruises will not be cancelled.   Our flights are booked (Qatar) but fully refundable but hope it doesn’t come to that.

I am hoping the same.  I will point out that in the Roll Call area under ‘All other river cruise roll calls’ is a thread labeled – Amawaterways Egypt Cruises(all) with number of responses.  However, you appear to be among the first of sailing dates mentioned in that thread. Anyone who sees your post may wish to check out the roll call as well. I have been monitoring the AMA website and see nothing that would indicate any delays.

The article I posted in the thread on AmaWaterways about the new AmaSiena says in German that the sailings on the Nile "are scheduled to go ahead in the next few days". I reckon this info came straight from the CEOs who were present at the christening.
