MSC Canada cancels cruises through Oct in US

I just called MSC Canada to change my cruise on Oct 2.  The agent told me that all cruises through October have been cancelled for US sailings.  She said I should receive an email today with instructions (nothing so far.)  Just wanted to let others know if they have a cruise planned.

I know that all Canadians were canceled because they couldn’t get COVID insurance or something like that. Our cruise is still showing as going.

My cruise on the 30th still appears to be live, but MSC just canceled/refunded all my add-ons. (Wifi/specialty dining, etc.) Wish we had more info about what's going on.

My cruise still shows as live and I haven't received the email cancellation however this was from a telephone agent at MSC Canada.

 

The government still has a no cruise ship travel advisory for Canadians which means we can't get insurance.

My friend from Canada was on 10/30 cruise and she got notified from her TA on September 2.

We had a couple Canadians on our roll call who got canceled right about then.
