We received a "Back to the fun" card in the mail. Logged in and had a look around, we have done our bit for humanity 18 month's it's time to live again !!!!

September 23rd, Magic right up the road from us in PC, long weekend, $25 pp, so convenient and cheap, who could refuse ?

We have not been on a ship this big before, what should we be looking for in the short 4 days ? We are early 50's relatively normal but slightly crazy lol.

Nassau will likely stay on-board.

Drinks package ? We don't drink hard and suppose to be on a sober September 🤡. $500 for 4 days seems like a lot when you can get a few free drinks if you know where to find them and buckets of beer etc bring the price down. 15 drinks a day would hurt. On the fence about this.

We were on Magic Sept 4-9 and had a great time!  50% capacity, it felt pretty deserted most of the time.  My DH and I both thought the MDR food was not up to standard but service was great.  We really enjoyed dinner at Steakhouse and Cucina del Capitano.  We had a spa pass for the cruise and enjoyed the toasty tile lounges, which sounds uncomfortable but it was very relaxing.  Alchemy was always busy.  Casino was busy.  Guy Burgers were so tasty!

Serenity was our favorite place to relax.  If you spend time there, say hi to David (server) and Neveneh (bartender) from Craig and Bethany.

Enjoy!!

We just got off (this morning, sigh) - was a wonderful trip. Less than 3000 people, plenty of space and we both felt perfectly safe. Booked last minute, so we had NOTHING planned.

In Nassau, we got off the ship and just wandered for about an hour. It was too hot for much more than that. At Half Moon Cay, we waited until after 11am, then hopped the water shuttle and spent about 2 hours on the beach.

Had lunch at Cucina del Capitano - they offered a "create your own pasta" (complimentary) which was lovely. I enjoyed the MDR in the evening, though by night 4, I didn't particualy want any of the main entrees.

We don't drink much, but tried a "rum flight" at Red Frog Pub, and the shots each evening in the MDR (to collect the glasses).

Have fun!!
