Mackdogmolly Posted September 14, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 14, 2021 So, I have noticed (at least in prior sailings), a daily am yoga class. Can anyone tell me the experience level they are. Interested, but would be a beginner. Betsey
Travels with Lisa Posted September 16, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2021 hi Betsey I've never done the yoga class, but my experience has been that all the classes are beginning level as they need to cater to everyone. You could always give it a whirl and leave if it's not what you are looking for. Liz

4welches Posted September 16, 2021 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2021 What are the cost for fitness classes now?
Travels with Lisa Posted September 16, 2021 #5 Share Posted September 16, 2021 As of my last Azamara cruise, (touring the Indian Ocean), they were complementary. There are some fitness services you pay for - body composition, personal training and such. The morning stretch class always seems particularly popular. And you need to sign up for spin classes in advance. That is, if these are even happening.
scotsahoy Posted September 16, 2021 #6 Share Posted September 16, 2021 I have been to yoga classes on a couple of cruises ( no additional cost) but they tended to be a “ one size fits all”. There was very little personal tuition, so I would tell the intsructor you are a beginner. I was not a beginner, but some of poses proved bit tricky if the ship was rolling a bit! This is helpful. On my next cruise I have a lot of sea days and will want to have things to do (I’m not a huge fan of trivia).
