Weather warnings and flooding along the Rhone

I saw in the news that the areas around Nimes and Montpellier have been hit by heavy rain. Up to 200 litres per square metre fell in just a few hours. The footage scarily reminds one of the Ahr valley flooding.

More rain was forecast as of lunchtime, but I have not heard anything more.

 

If you are on the Rhone now, I hope you are not affected. Does not look too bad in the colours but could raise the level of the Rhone probably, although the worst affected river does not drain into the Rhone.
