Media and social media reports of a large covid outbreak 😷 

 

And I’m wondering is this why PCR Tests have been introduced even if you’ve been vaccinated?

It seemed very sudden to issue the new requirement without any notice.  It doesn’t even state from when it applies.  It may very well have to do with the outbreak on Virtuosa.

I think panic has set in - its the only reason i can see

The first additional PCR announcement was straight after the outbreak for the people on the Southampton to Lisbon cruise, so it seems like it was a direct response. 

 

There are a number of threads on here about it. As usual, experiences seem to have differed quite widely, although most agree on a lack of space to social distance and poor enforcement of mask wearing. It's not clear how many raised that as an issue while on board.
