Funniest thing you have seen someone wear

Lets hear the craziest thing you have seen someone wear on a cruise.

Here is mine. A couple, an odd pair at that, wore those commerical logo-cartoon pj bottoms to the dinning room. He wore the pjs with fire flames and she wore bright yellow with the sugar baby candy logo. Now I'm not a stickler for the dress code, but this was a little upseting and funny at the same time.

One cruise there was a man with a stuffed parrot on his shoulder. Scary thing was it was there everytime I saw him, even on formal night, and he only seemed to be conversing with the parrot.......intially I thought it was funny - amusing, then I thought it was funny-odd!

The funniest thing I have ever seen is a rather chubby man with white hair and a white beard. He wore the same red bathing suit every day, and always with a pair of SUSPENDERS! Kinda reminded me of Santa Claus

I am a "fluffy" female and saw a couple weeks ago another "fluffy" female more fluffy then I am wearing a bikini

laying there getting a tan and the looks all the power to her but I couldnt l ol

"fluffy" female? Think that has just gone right over my head.

The funniest thing, in a very sweet/adorable way, was during out first cruise (a Disney Cruise). It was all of the little girls dressing up most nights (or maybe just formal nights?) in their purchased Disney costumes: you say a couple of dozen Snow Whites, ten Sleeping Beauties, a dozen Belles etc.etc at dinner. It was very sweet, but also quite amusing :)

Boo Boo, you are getting indoctrinated to our lingo! People who are "not skinny" are sometimes called "fluffy."

This thread is great. I would have loved to see all the Disney characters at dinner! Those little kids can be so cute!

I think the craziest thing I ever saw was on a Princess cruise. There was this one man who always wore glittery tops to dinner. One night he had on some large Mardi Gras necklace, and I went to see what it was made up of. Well, my jaw dropped when I saw that the sticky out pieces were plastic replicas of a certain male body part! The man laughed and said, "It's all about fun, isn't it?!" He was quite a character.

Ah, like "cuddly" :)

Ok, I can go one up on SilverVal... was on a cruise a few years eago which went to, amongst other places, St Marteen.

We went to Orient beach by ourselves, but there were quite a few cruise passengers on the beach to. We got loungers on the side of the beach away from the "clothing optional" side (we are not prudish, just there is only so much of other people's bodies I really like to see...). On the side of the beach we were, quite a few women still went topless. This very fluffy lady and her family took the loungers in front of us. She was wearing a bikini until she removed the top and RAN - all caution (and everything else) to the wind - into the sea. She was definitely enjoying the freedom of letting it all hang out. As you say, all power to her.

The Disney kids were THE cutest - very well behaved too :)

There was a man on our Rhapsody cruise a few years ago who wore the same suit all week. It didn't matter where he was (pool, dining room, etc.) or what time of day it was, he had on THE SUIT! The man also carried a briefcase/tote bag around with him all week. Very strange!

I have only cruised once so far, so I am sure many of you have seen more than I have. On the Majesty last April we were on a cruise with about a hundred red hat ladies. It was so funny to see them all together in their purple outfits and red BIG hats.

Probably the rest of his luggage! :D

On a cruise a couple of years ago we saw a very "fluffy" woman in a thong! From the back it looked as if she had nothing on but a band around her "Waist" Anyway she paraded off to the pool. Looked like she was having a good time!

Several cruises ago there were quite a number of older passangers using electric scooters. One couple (looked to be in their 80's) were all over the place. One day they rode past me in the casino. I got a good look at his T shirt. The saying was;

Geezer, Formerly known as Stud Muffin.

Told him I loved his shirt and he replied "Gee, don't you love me too". To bad all cruisers aren't as fun loving as this old guy.

On the Grandeur a few years ago there was a heavily tatooed man who wore leather pants, leather vest and very heavy silver nipple rings to formal night.

I guess it wasn't so funny, as unusual. And we worry about baseball caps and jeans in the dining room!

So cute! That would make a great theme for the kids on a Disney cruise-they all parade around in their outfits!

Princes & princesses for the night!

Oh definitely, well that's sort of exactly what they do... and thinking back to that age (sort of 3 to 10) - I wanted to be a Princess too ;) (ok, I still do, but I don't have to dress like a Disney one to feel like it.... anymore....! ;) )

We don't have kids yet, but when we do - and they are old enough to appreciate it - I do want to do the whole "Disney" thing with them (cruise and stay). It's such a magical age and nice to indulge their fantasies a bit :) (Ok, so I want to relive those fantasies myself! ;) ).

What a beautiful world it can be sometimes :)

Hey Judy, I was on that Grandeur cruise with you and was just about to post about the leather/nipple ring guy. Weren't there some chains across his chest connecting the rings??

Speaking of dress codes!!! I wonder if he got into the dining room for dinner??? He was quite the sight!!

On a 3 day Holiday cruise a few years back, we saw this 6'2" lady wearing a thong bikini and 5" spike heels! The 3" curved acrylic nails really finished of the fashion statement. In one of her drunken dancing frenzies, she lost her . . . um . . .left breast. :o People tried to tell her but she was too drunk to listen. The show lasted for about 20 minutes.

Guys . . .think "YUCK" not "WOW". Many men left the area!

This wasn't on a cruise but was at the beach...in Outer Banks, NC. I was staying at a beach house and was looking at the sites thru binoculars when I saw this "fluffy" lady walking down the beach in a thong. I said Holy Cow or something to that effect and my wife wanted to know what was up. I handed her the binocs and heard "no she didn't" Then she noticed that the lady was really wearing a fake thong print on a T-Shirt. We laughed and laughed.

Geezers in Speedos!

On our Hawaii cruise there was a Geezer in a speedo and his wife's thong had a matching pattern. Wrinkles hanging over either a speedo or thong is not something I ever need to experience again!!!

I've only cruised 2 times, so I haven't seen many strange things yet. I always get a giggle out of the 'fluffy' men in tight Speedos though.

On our recent Serenade cruise, there was an older woman near us in the dining room who wore a dressy hat to dinner every night. Often, they were just tiny little hats that perched on top of her head...like something women would have worn several decades ago. On one of the formal nights she wore a beret that was completely covered in gold sequins...when the light hit it I was almost blinded! ;)
