Why are CARNIVAL cruise prices so low right now?

That all makes sense.  Oasis was just OK for us.  Had a bad experience with them remodeling a suite right before we sailed and we didn’t even have enough beds for everyone.  It was the largest 4 bedroom suite they changed to two suites and rooms became smaller because of that.  Ship was awesome at the time but I actually liked Mardi Gras better.  Food is always a personal choice but I like Carnivals free options vs NCL or RCL.  That’s not even counting pig and anchor, cucina or Chibang.

I can’t believe you’re not getting offers like others.  We have two booked next year and did receive the $25 offers last week.  We too are just a few days short of Diamond but we do receive a lot of casino offers.

Only offer I ever got that was worth anything was the OV8 code, good for 200 in OBC.  Currently have it on 2 different B2B's on the Mardi Gras in 2022, so it's worth 800.

original OP:

because it starts in Seattle and ends in Miami   ...   adding airfare  brings it UP in cost to the cruisers!

The air fare for my rescheduled cruise is up to  $740 for 2 of us from CT to MIA.  I paid $313 total when I first booked but since an exposure to covid took that cruise away from me, I rebooked only to see airfare skyrocketing.  I envy Floridians who don't have to pay airfare.  It adds on so much more money especially if you have to get a hotel for flying in a day early, which we always do as a safety measure.

This! It really stinks when you find a much cheaper flight 2 or 3 days earlier when you have to actually consider if it is worth the cost of hotel and meals versus benefit of decompressing before the cruise.

I have the $100/cabin offer for the Panama cruise.  I also just had a $50pp for a 7 day to Bermuda.  I booked that one as I've never been to Bermuda.  It was $347 total for two of us to Bermuda.  Idk how or why we (me and dh) keep getting these offers but I am thankful!

Someone posted a topic about low cruise prices and it got moved, I followed it but it lost its' Carnival lean.  So I started this thread.  I always wanted to do a Panama Canal cruise, but most of them only go part way through the canal, into the turnaround bay, and then back again.  East coast partial-transit cruises don't even get to see Panama City.  So while looking at the great prices, I just saw this:

I realize with a cruise this long and a 2:1 sea day : port day ratio I'm going to lose ~$1,000 - $2,000 in the casino, but can anyone tell me why this is not a STEAL?

My husband got this same offer- See ya on the ship !!!

I had to take advantage of the deal. Got a cove balcony for 2 on a 4 day for $30 per person. The gratuities and port fees cost so much more than the cruise fare.

yes they do, they should just give the cabins away for the port fees, and gratuities lol.
