Stanley Posted February 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2006 Does anyone know if there is a laundry special the day you board a RCCL ship? We're sailing on the Empress of the Seas.
Voyager Posted February 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2006 I have never seen a laundry special on any of the ships. In fact, I dont even think you can get express service on the first day. The prices are really reasonable however.
Nliedel Posted February 19, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2006 No specials that I know of but that said the prices are in line with land prices and they do a great job. I always send some things out and having them come home clean and pressed is a wonderful gift to me.
cruisin from florida Posted February 19, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2006 Not a special, but pressing is 1/2 the cost of laundering. They do a nice job. So rather than worry about trying to get our shirts packed so they won't wrinkle, I now wash anything that would need to be pressed and then send it out for ironing as soon as we're on the ship. Since I was having dress shirts laundered and pressed at our local cleaners and then they were ending up wrinkled anyway, this is a MUCH better, and less expensive option.
