Good tip about boarding at 11:00! My arrival time from when I first checked in online was 12:00, but that was when I was in a normal balcony.

Lunch in Luminae is normally 12 to 1:30pm. I enjoy Luminae and the Retreat on the M class ships. You will be able to order off the MDR menu for lunch and dinner in Luminae on the Summit.

I did this today. You are right, it is a no-brainer. Cost me $45 to upgrade for my 5-day sailing, but comes with $50 of freeplay in the casino, which I would definitely be spending anyway. So it's basically like they are paying me $5 to upgrade. I don't even drink wine, but the freeplay and being able to drink from the minibar will be nice!

Edit: Are snacks from the minibar also included, or just the drinks?

Snacks as well yes. 👍

The Yellow Chairs in Al Bacio (if same as Mill) were super super comfy. If you read or just sit and lk chill they’re awesome. You won’t want to get up!

I found some video and it looks like the yellow chairs on the Summit are the same as the ones on the Equinox. Those were quite comfy.

Okay total transparency: we tried to find the manufacturers tag on them to find them (in other colors) for home! 🤷‍♂️ Don’t judge! 😂

Unfortunately, while I was checking out videos to see what the chairs were like, I also so lots of delicious looking pastries and now I am hungry. :classic_sad:

A croissant an espresso in one of those yellow chairs was my standard "elevensies" on Summit.  If I had any sweet tooth at all, I may very well have investigated those other pastries.  I'll tell you, though, the croissants are quite wonderful.

Due to that beautiful glass case I think I brought home a little more of me than I came with!!

The chair that sucks you in and doesn’t let go, and…”the case”. Beware to those that pass by, you too can be pulled in and allured by both!!

Just be sure to enter from the aft entrance and go directly to one of the chairs. Keep that dadgum case out of sight! 😉🤣

Did you forget about it again? 😂😂😂

My Summit sailing? Definitely not! It's basically all I am thinking about these days. I cannot wait to be on another cruise! I got an antigen test scheduled at a county site for Thursday, but it's not until 5:05pm. Hoping I can get something at Walgreens earlier in the day, but they don't have the ability to book appointments that far out. I don't think I will be able to schedule a Thursday appointment there until Sunday or Monday.

I am also now in my self-imposed pre-cruise quarantine. I am only leaving the house to go to work and while at work, I wear an N95 mask.

Going to try to do a live blog of the first leg at least, when I have the stream wifi. I am not sure I will be able to keep it up on the second leg with only the surf wifi. I had the surf wifi on my Equinox sailing in July and it was essentially useless. Actually, a little worse than useless, because I kept wasting time trying to get it to work and getting frustrated by it. Would have been better off just not trying!

Very excited to follow your live blog, I will be back on the Summit for the first time after "Revolutionized."  Also booked a Sky Suite with my Sister, and will be my first taste of Luminae , I'm crossing my fingers that you are able to join other diners, wondering how this works in the new Covid Crusing world.  Where will your blog be posted ?  Thank You in advance and Happy Crusing 😎

OK Just checking!! Haha. I find myself in the same boat (no pun intended) always looking forward to the next one. Looks like next year, if I want to sail more than twice (and that’s not gonna cut it! haha), then I will be joining the Solo Club, so I like seeing how they go for you.

I'll be posting my blog/review here in the Celebrity thread. Once I create the thread, I will try to remember to come back and link it in this thread so you will get the notification.

We're not big wine drinkers either.  We had the drinks and more pkg last sailing on Summit.   Since there were two of us we had 4 bottles of wine sent.   Not sure that was supposed to happen or not.  Happened to have a table of 6 nuns at the table next to us.    We brought them a bottle of our  wine for dinner each night.    Talked to the Maître D to make sure they were never charged a corkage fee.    They set us a blessing each night.     They were awesome.
