Dollar / Thrifty near Port Everglades... still open?

Hi - has anyone used the Dollar / Thrifty location near Port Everglades in the past few months.  Wondering if they are now closed.

 

I was looking to book a rental - dropping off at the Dollar/Thrifty (2400 Miami Road) location in Port Everglades, just outside of the port. 

The location came up when going thru the booking process, but got an error when trying to complete the reservation.

 

I checked both the Thrifty and Dollar websites, and that one doesn't show up anymore.

 

That location is VERY convenient... especially for dropping off - then taking the (free) shuttle to the port.

The Ft Lauderdale location is 600 Terminal Drive, which appears to be the one at FLL.

Bumping this up...

 

I've called a few times (no answer)... the location isn't listed anymore on the Thrifty or Dollar websites.

 

Going to assume they have closed.  

 

Damn, loved this location too... always used them before sailing out of Port Everglades.

Budget/Avis/Payless is now in the Old Thrifty/Dollar location on Miami Road.

This was a great location and not surprised when it became available they took it.
