Not sure if I spelled that correctly.  Can I have a vote on Odessey or Allure class and why?  I'm trying to choose between the two.  I've cruised the Oasis class many times and I love the Mama Mia Movie so really would love to see the show. But, Odessey is new with new shows, etc. Anyone been on Odessey? Can yall help me out?

I was just on Odyssey last month....gorgeous ship. I have over 20 Oasis class sailings under my belt so Odyssey was a fresh change-up. Ship is brand spanking new and the decor is fresh and up to date. LOVED the solarium....fully enclosed ...temp controlled....and multiple pools and hot tubs. Crew was wonderful. It felt like more a traditional cruise ship compared to Oasis class...which is nice sometimes. You cant really go wrong with either and I am booked on Allure in Dec....BUT that's because I have a comp'd casino sailing  (which I won while on Odyssey 🙂 ) but Odyssey wasn't on the casino  list of sailings to choose from  😞 But if I had the choice between the 2 I would have booked Odyssey again for sure.

We were on Allure in January/February of 2020, right before the Covid shutdown.  It was supposed to go into drydock for a refresh, but I'm not sure that actually happened.  Mama Mia is a fabulous show though, and you already know the other features of Oasis class ships.  We're booked for a B2B Odyssey sailing in January.  We were on the inaugural sailings of her sister ships, the Ovation OTS in 2016 for 45 days, and the Spectrum OTS in 2019 for 50+ days.  I personally like the Quantum class better than the Oasis class.  I prefer the layout of the ship.  The entertainment is also very good. It has the 270, which offers unique entertainment options, in a more intimate setting.  I saw that The Effectors was currently being offered on Odyssey.  I saw that on Spectrum, and it is quite a unique show, with drones making formations, and shown in the main theater.  I hope that this gives you some additional information to work with.

thank you.  does it have a starbucks on board? We really love entertainment and we love the diving shows, ice shows, track around the ship,  does Odyssey have this? I know we will be happy with either, just want to make a good choice, I know I'll love Odyssey

Allure's Amp up was cancelled early in the COVID. We were booked on her TA back from Europe post-Amplification. Obviously that never happened either.
