MSC Cruise reconfirmed its 2021/22 winter navigation program in the South Caribbean today, where MSC Seaview will base during the season for a 7 and 14-night cruise from St. Maarten and Barbados from December 5th.

The updated itinerary mirrors the ports that granted access to the ship and its guests from December onwards and provides for a full day destination, in some cases up to 12 hours, allowing guests to really make the most of the They have time to discover the islands in full.
MSC Seaview will operate two different 7-night itineraries from its two boarding ports, with many holidaymakers leaving for consecutive cruises and enjoying a trip discovering the magical and peaceful turquoise waters of the South Caribbean Sea.
The first itinerary will start from the port of Philipsburg, the capital of St Maarten, and from Bridgetown, Barbados; with steps to Castries to St Lucia; St George, Grenada; Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis, before returning to St Maarten.
The second itinerary will sail from St Maarten and Bridgetown; with steps in Roseau, Dominica; San Johns in Antigua and Barbuda; Road Town in Tortola and then back to St Maarten.
Gianni Honorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, said: ′′ The Southern Caribbean is an area greatly loved by cruise workers around the world and local guests in this region and we've worked hard to find alternative options for the route that would allow us to confirm the Our usual winter season here, obviously supported by our industry-leading health and safety protocol. We would especially like to thank our partner airlines who have changed their charter flight schedules to serve the new itinerary to make it accessible to our guests. For this reason, we're still able to offer our guests an incredible cruise holiday this winter, stopping by some of the southern Caribbean's most beautiful islands aboard MSC Seaview, the perfect ship to navigate these waters ".
All guests on MSC Seaview will need to be fully vaccinated or show a negative PCR test performed 72 hours before boarding.
In addition, in most ports guests will be able to land on their own, while for selected destinations guests will have to hit the ground with a ground excursion protected by MSC Cruises. More specific details will soon be available at the MSC Cruise website, travel agents and the contact center of the line.

Sid, you are a star! Thank you for posting this. Presumably no mention of how this will impact the transatlantic, but would expect to now be offered to end in St M or Barbados....which would be perfect for us, as Brits, the French obviously St M is better.

Late edit: I would have posted this on the rollcall, but for the fact someone else has linked a MSC press release there saying what you have posted above.

Once again, many thanks! 😌

....Does this mean on the days we should have been in martinque and Guadeloupe we will return to St Maarten?

Unknown at this stage, should be revealed in the coming days. MSC are not good at communicating these changes quickly. Given yours is still a couple of months away, direct communication won't be a priority.
