Disembarkation day question

Recommended Posts

Hi all, we're on a B2B cruise in November 2021 on Marella Explorer visiting Canaries and Madeira.  Post-cruise, the ship arrives in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria circa 0800 hours, but our return flight does not depart until 1535.

Can anyone advise what is likely to happen between those times; are we able to remain on board and use the ship's facilities, or do we have to disembark shortly after 0800 hours, and take the transfer to the airport?

Many thanks in advance

You will have to vacate your cabin, probably by 8am (after leaving large luggage outside cabin the night before). You can stay on board and use the full facilities until your coach arrives to take you to the airport. Hand luggage can be left (probably in Squid and Anchor) and will be guarded against theft. You will be provided with a numbered ticket for collection later

That’s good to know, we have a similar cruise in January and our flight is around 4pm I thought we would have to book a lounge at the airport or something to make the waiting more comfortable.Dianne
